The client is a 24-year-old female with Cerebellar Hypoplasia seeking an experienced, compassionate live-in carer for 3 days a month to start ( exact dates are flexible )
We will be increasing hours and days once funding is finalised
This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful support to a young person through assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, and companionship.
The ideal candidate will be warm, kind, and emotionally supportive, with a relaxed demeanour and good sense of humour.
We are looking to start with 3 days this month, example Friday 10am - Monday 10am
( exact date to be agreed ) to build trust
From June …
We are in a remote location, without public transport, so the Carer must have a full clean dvlc
You are welcome to use your own car and invoice expenses our automatic electric Motability vehicle
Charley is recovering from PTSD from abusive carers in her past setting, so a heart centred, self aware approach with consistent boundaries is a must
Key responsibilities
- Assist the client with mobility and getting around the home
- Shop for groceries and prepare meals
- Provide companionship and be a friendly, supportive presence
- Offer verbal prompts and reassurance as needed

The client's home is smoke-free and pet-free. The property is located in a remote area with no public transportation.
Requirements
- Fluent English speaker
- Full, clean DVLA driving licence (essential)
- Experienced care background with a person-centred approach
- Warm, kind, and emotionally supportive demeanour
- Excellent reassurance and communication skills
- Relaxed attitude with a good sense of humour
