A private family is seeking a reliable and organised visiting carer, or possible short-term residential, to provide support to a 96-year-old client with COPD. The role involves administering medication and assisting with nebuliser use, personal care, toileting, mobility assistance, light cooking.
This is a short term position whilst the family arrange long-term residential care. Suitable for an experienced carer with strong attention to detail and a calm, methodical approach to care routines.
Key responsibilities
The carer will visit the client's home and have the following responsibilities:
- Manage and administer medicines
- Assist the client with nebuliser use
- Toileting, currently individual still mobile
- Bathing, no longer able to use shower
- Light cooking

Age: 96
Medical conditions: COPD
Additional health needs information: The client requires assistance with nebuliser use during the middle of the day.
Other information: The client has care support whilst the family are in the process of arranging long-term care home.
Work environment
The client's home is smoke-free and pet-free.
Working pattern
Monday - Friday 9 - 6 most days
Weekend 10 - 6
