This is a permanent visiting care position for an 82-year-old client with dementia. Key responsibilities
The carer will visit the client's home and provide support with:
- Personal hygiene and toileting needs
- Grocery shopping and meal preparation
- Household tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Driving to appointments
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with pet care, including changing the litter tray for an elderly cat and reminding the client to feed the pet

Smoke-free home. The client is a pet owner.
Requirements
Essential:
- Fluent English language skills
- Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Care Quality Commission (CQC) mandatory training
- Care Certificate
Working pattern
20-56 hours per week. One visit per day for 3-4 hours, Monday-Friday (excluding Tuesdays). Hours are expected to increase as the client's needs develop.
