Key responsibilities
The carer will visit the client's home and undertake the following responsibilities:
- Manage and administer medicines
- Support with hygiene and toileting needs
- Provide friendly companionship and emotional support
About the client
Age: 100
Medical conditions: Dementia
Additional health needs: The client is independent and in excellent health for his age. He speaks little English and has a friendly Vizsla dog in the home.
Working pattern
11 hours per week, consisting of:
- Monday to Friday: one-hour morning visits
- Two 30-minute calls during the day
- One weekend morning visit
Work environment
Smoke-free home. The client is a pet owner. Please note: this role does not include pet care.
Requirements
Essential:
- Fluent spoken English
- Care Quality Commission (CQC) mandatory training
